We finally got him! “Him” being the notorious Liberal MP for Richmond Hill, Ontario, Majid Jowhari.
Mr Jowhari has quite the chequered resume, but every time we try to interview him, he or his staff call the cops. (You can see those videos by scrolling down this page.)
This time, however, we bumped into him at a shopping mall with nowhere for Jowhari to hide — and yes, his staff called the cops. But before we left, we snuck in some questions, such as:
- Why do you support the Iranian regime given that the vast majority of Iranians in his riding despise it? (Jowhari denies he supports the mullahs in Tehran.)
- Why did you actually have meetings on Canadian soil with members of the Iranian parliament?
- Also, why did an ex-Liberal MP, MPP and other Liberals send out a mass-email last October urging Richmond Hill residents not to vote for you?
- Why did you falsely pass yourself off as a professional engineer when your licence had been cancelled for non-payment?
- And what about the allegations of freelance journalist Alireza Sassani who recently stated that Jowhari receives financial support from the Iranian regime?
